MonsterTemplates  Bottom

  • I hope InvalidResponse sees this. I've been trying without success for almost a week now to get to http://www.mashdeco.com. Maybe something has happened there.

Anyway my problem is that the same categories always show in MonsterTemplates no mater what I change it to. I do remember seeing something about this in the forums at mashdeco but as I can't get in maybe you could give me an answer here.

    Thanks
  • ..Hi ;)

..I'm guessing you are using .750.. I have recently updated the package to fix this issue

    thanks!

PS: I had to block the entire 200.x.x.x IP range for a while.. I was being "harrassed".. I've removed the block.. if you still cannot get in, please mail me admin[at]mashdeco.com and I'll send it to you.
  • Does anyone have any info on this module from mashdeco.com?

It only gives an error page for me on two different Postnuke sites, it doesnt have any index file like other modules and just doesn't work.

It says it requires pnrender for the custom header? or for the module to run?

    Anyone have luck with it?
  • Now I tried to create a block and my site is useless. I can't even get into my admin area!

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: pnrender in /home/user/public_html/main/2/modules/MonsterTemplates/pnblocks/TemplateTypes.php on line 47
  • Or my index.php! My sites down. What the heck? The install says nothing of this. be careful!
  • What exactly is pnrender?

..the install clearly states the pnRender module is required for compilation of templates..

    What exactly is pnrender?

pnRender is a modified or "standardized" version of "STE".. the Smarty Template Engine. That has been built into the core of PostNuke (as of .750). By "core" I mean the internals of the content management system. pnRender will ship pre-installed either with the impending .750 stable release.. or .8 (it may already be there.. I just can't verify at this second).

.. the error is telling you where the "offending" file is.. all you needed to do was remove the file from the directory to cure the error.. or install pnRender as required.

  • Ohh you are right. I just got rid of the module and the site works fine.

Could I install pnrender along with AutoTheme and it should work? I really like the module but have no use for Xanthia or any other theme system besides AutoTheme.

In other words will the MT module work with AutoTheme? Im running a new version of .726 Phoenix

    Thank you :P
  • AutoTheme & pnRender exist together fine.
