How about opening special forums for release candidates...(starting with 0.8 RC1?)
The last few weeks there have been lots of posts in the core modules/support forums which where related to the RC's of PN 0.750.
After the final is released 99% percent of these posts will be useless since (most :) ) bugs will be resolved. And they will make searching more difficult.
Another advantage i can think off is that newcomers to postnuke won't see so many posts about things not working :)

Something else that crossed my mind about the forums :
How about making a short sticky called "Which forums are available for Postnuke" in the Third Party Forums forum with the (2?) available forums that can be integrated with postnuke.
Just the name, a link to their support site and maybe a short description.
I think that would stop a lot of questions like : I installed PN and i don't have a forum, Where can i find a forum etc.
Maybe for the Third Party Gallery's and Calenders to... -

Sounds good - but it needs someone with admin access to do the necessary work. (Despite the colour of my bulb, that isnt me ;) )
The posts in the forums do exist, I expect they can be found with the search button, its just that they were never made sticky.

Given the number of times it's asked, I don't think it will do a lick of good. After all, the posting guidelines are stickied in the forums and look how many people don't follow them.
