themeheader() undefined function  Bottom

  • I tried previously tried downloading and installing some themes, but I receieved the message Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /services/http/users/a/adriand/header.php on line 188
whenever I tried to go to any page on my site. It turned out that I had to download and install the AutoTheme module. I did so, and my site started working again. Miraculously, I managed to keep my site up for two days before I messed it up again. I tried downloading some more themes, and now I'm getting Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /services/http/users/a/adriand/header.php on line 188
again. The only difference is that now I already have the autothemes module installed. I tried deleting the offending themes, but to no avail. I can't go back in to my site and change anything, since I can't view a single page. Please help! Thanks. I seem to have very bad luck so far with themes. I just want something that's "plug and play." What am I doing wrong that I keep getting this error?
  • See the FAQ.. This is covered there and how you can get back to a working theme.

As to what you're doing wrong, could be that they're not PostNuke themes, or are older postNuke themes.

  • Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, Always, check a new theme by going to www.yoursite.com/index.php?theme=ThemeName. This will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
  • Thanks very much for the help; my website was back up and running quickly and easily. The theme=themename suggestion was a great suggestion. However, it seems that every free theme that I download comes up with the themeheader() error. Is the problem on my end, or is there something wrong with the themes I'm getting? they're all from different sites, so it doesn't seem restricted to one source. Am I choosing the wrong themes, or what? thanks again for the past advice.
  • It could be that you are downloading PHP Nuke themes, or older PostNuke themes. Post a link to one of the themes you have downloaded and I will go look.

  • Some of the themes that didn't work for me:
    imagic2 from imagicweb.com
    GreenWeave from (I think) autothemes.com
    GT-BCXanthia from
    simplywhite and pixelyellow from predatorial-tendencies.com
  • i got the same problem after download themes from POSTNUKE.COM ... why do they have themes there if not make for postnuke or dont work on it ???

it really is a pain in the butt
  • They require AutoTheme full or the free AutoTheme lite.
They all say that in the description.

why do they have themes there if not make for postnuke or dont work on it ???

it really is a pain in the butt

Those themes are running (without our help, they are core-themes and free) in hundreds of sites:

Do you belive that if those themes didn't worked, would they be the "most popular" at themes.postnuke.com? (september, 13 2004)

Post at imagicweb.com forums and you'll have the appropiate help for that stuff.

They require AutoTheme full or the free AutoTheme lite.

Imagic2 and all imagicweb.com themes does not require AutoTheme.
