..Hi Goku.. considering that the line $pnconfig['temp'] = 'pnTemp'; was not included in your config.php file.. I'm guessing that pnRender was never initialized/activated.. please check into this. thanks..

go to Administration-->Modules-->Regenerate
find pnRender in the list and initialize it and then and activate it.
..you're probably going to get an error and an "initialization failed".. this is due to a file that should be located in the "install" directory in the root of your site.. there should have been some files included with XTE.. pnRender and it's required files is also included in that package..

..it's got to be the folder permissions.. I don't have FTP access from here (work).. so I can't do anything about that right now..
..it didn't make much sense that pnRender wasn't already in the mod directory.. it will compile even if inactive.. it's just the filename it's trying to write doesn't look right.. I could be wrong..often I am..
are the folders named the same as the error indicates? is the pnTemp folder named "pnTemp" or "PNtemp" as you mentioned earlier..?
..it's either a misspelling, a directory is not where it should be or.. yes..folder permissions.

I did follow the path the error specified and looked at the Smarty.class.php it says error writing was on line 1102 but Im not gonna count 1102 lines to see which one it is lol. BUt path was correct as error posted. -

haha.. 1102 is probably just the directory the file should be written to.. I'd need ftp and admin access.. if you want me to take a look at it.. so long as you can agree to not hold me accountable for anything..in any way shape or form.
recongamer can't help you with this..

I am having the same issue as SSGoku, any chance of a list of files we need to place in the CGI_BIN folder in order to get this to work and also any editing required of files aswell.
Cheers
