Adding an image to a block header  Bottom

  • I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I havent' been able to find any references to an idea like this.

What about having the possibility to attach an image to a block header so instead (or above) of the textual header, the attached image will be displayed.

Currently i've 'solved' this by adding an HTML block displaying the image in front of the actual 'content' block but to be honest that feels a bit 'wrong-ish' ... My gut feeling tells me that there should be a way to have a choice of text/image as the header. However i'm unsure how this will or might break the way blocks are being constructed by default, but it is certainly something that would be 'solvable' in a custom theme.
  • Sounds great! AutoTheme does this AutoMagically. If you have an image in your theme images/ dir with the correct name of a block, then it's used instead of the text title when displaying the block. Or you can design custom block templates for any block and use an image instead of the text title. Your choic.

    Thanks!
