I wanting to share files in a way whereby "users" can up and download files and work on a downloaded file, modify the data, and then upload the edited version. I am trying to use UpDownload to do this but am hitting problems as it doesn't seem to have any sign-out / sign-in function (to lock out other users from modifying the data whilst someone else is doing some editing on the file). Is there a way of using some of the other facilities, like "rating" the file as a flag. Maybe there is a more appropriate module that I could use.
I would also like to increase the file size limit above the default of 2MB.....
Suggestions appreciated.

Hi,
With permissions you can give some user Up and Download and some only download permissions. But you have to remove the old download and make a new download for a newer version.
What I can tell you is that the Upload size in most cases is restricted by your hosting provider.
This is done by setting PHP max upload size to 2 MB. In most cases only your hosting provider can change that.
Maybe some body else has more knowledge about this.
But I hoop this is a starting point for you.
Greetings
Michiel
