Exactly, it works great for what it's purpose is. Hosting projects and the support apparatus for them, it is not for non-project based uses. Like I said, that was the primary reason we created the pnCorps.net site. We really needed some of the types of features that the NOC provided, but the NOC's tools were not well designed for the purpose we were using it.

I agree with this. It seems like another category could be added to the existing pnCore, pnCommunity, etc... and add a pnDevelopment area with sub-forums like PHP, pnAPI, Database/ADODB, XTE/Themes and probably others.mhalbrook
The NOC is perfect for housing development projects, it is not well suited for a developer's community to discuss more global development issues, the phpBB forum is much more user friendly.

I still think the developer oriented forums should be seperate from these forums. Less confusion for newbies
