Fatal error: call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/darksoft/public_html/dknuke/header.php on line 188

what did i need to do to fix this problem? what code or script do i need to add to this line to let me add themes as i see fit?
  • EIther it's:

    A: Not a PostNuke theme
B: An AutoTheme based Theme and you need to install AutoTheme from http://spidean.mckenzies.net
    C: You've uploaded it wrong.

  • so once i put this AutoTheme in my mod folder it should work??
  • You'll need to use the Swiss Army Knife to switch back to a working theme to activate the module. YOu can find the link to d/l the PSAK in the FAQ on the error you got in the FAQ over in the menu to the left.

  • I don't think that is an AutoTheme - at least I've never seen it.
  • Yes it is. It's one of mine. :)

  • I have said it before and I will say it again, never, never change your PN defalt theme to a new theme that you just got untill you have tested it on a user test acc, and allways read the docs that come with the theme before you even uploaded it to your site.

But anyways, get the Swiss Army Knife and use it to set the site back to a defalt theme then get AutoTheme lite upload that to your site, set it up and then you can use the theme you got :)
  • I'd put an asterisk beside MetalDragon's advice IF you have access to the themes subdirectory and can remove a theme's subdirectory.

I always test out themes logged in as Admin. Here's the trick:

Have your main PostNuke site -- in the Admin - Settings menu -- always set to a working theme.

Then you can experiment by setting your account's theme in user.php. If you run into a "bad" theme that screws things up, just access the bad theme's subdirectory and delete the entire subdirectory or rename that theme's subdirectory.

Once you refresh the page, PostNuke will see that your user-level theme is missing and it will default back to the system's default theme in the settings menu. Voila!, you're back to working again.

And if that doesn't make sense, just do what MetalDragon said. icon_smile
  • or just append ?theme=ThemeName to the end of your URL to test it without changing anything. :P

  • I also use a prview mod I have that lets you prview a theme from your acc without setteing it to be your theme :)
  • So long as you have psak.php on your install, then it doesn't matter if you have broken themes activated.
  • At least untile I've had time to work on PSAK 2, it should not be left in place on the server, it is a risky app. I plan to make 2 secureable, but I'm really not sure when I'll be able to do the work on it to introduce the new features.

  • Good point Michael, I didn't mean to suggest that it be left on a production site.
