Hello -
I am looking for a couple free non-at themes. Nothing too fancy. Just looking for something a little different than the standard themes that come with PN.
Any one know where I can find some?
It seems like every theme place I review, they are ALL AT Themes.
Thanks

What's wrong with AutoTheme based themes? They're eaiser to develop than the old standard PHP themes, so there will be more creativitiy since they can be created by designers, not coders.,

You are correct, there is nothing wrong with AT Themes. Maybe I should have asked a different question.
My understanding (correct me if I am wrong) is that AutoTheme is a commercial module. AT-Lite is a scaled down version of AutoTheme but is free.
If the above is true...then,
a) where can I get AT-Lite
b) where can I get free themes for AT-Lite
I guess my main thing is that I don't want to pay for AutoTheme and I could not find AT-Lite to download and I cannot find any free themes that don't use AutoTheme/AT-Lite.
:?:
Any help would be great. Thanks! -

AutoTheme Lite should be available from the same site, http://spidean.mckenzies.net. I belive that the themes will work regardless of the version you're using.

M is right the lite version of AT is available at the spidean site. Frankly, the lite version is fine if you are just a user. The commercial version is better, but its not a necessity. And as M said, it doesn't diable regular themes - you can use both. -

If you go back through the themes.postnuke.com site you can find a number of themes, but it's time consuming.
One I would suggest is the "MTmodular" theme at http://www.mtrad.com/. It is well documented which makes it great for hacking on. It uses a basic "box with graphical borders" idea which lends itself to you substituting your own borders and easily and radically changing the look. A nice theme to start playing with...
