  The AutoThemes.com team has begun a HUGE project to convert phpnuke themes to AutoThemes. We've completed 20 and plan to add 10 more a day until we've converted all 200 that we have in our archive.

  I got some of the new free themes uploaded them to have a look and something funny happens all my blocks and stuff are moved around and/or are no longer there and ones like the PNpbpBB block is now on the right side insted of the middle and is full of posts by warrick but it links to my forum. Same with Poll I have no poll running but when I install the theme there it is so far this happens on theses themes

  Oh and now theres a other storys block with storys form some other site (yours me thinks) and I dont even have a story block on. What am I doing wrong here if anything I like some of these themes a lot so how do I get them to work propaly for me with out all this stuff form other sites in them.

  You may not be doing anything wrong. Were using an auto-conversion script that may screwing up on some themes. As you test, just keep informed so we can manually correct any themes that are screwed up. We'll start rigorous testing as soon as we get all 250 converted.

  rgr that, it just kind off looked funny with your name all over it LOL heres a question when you are done converting all the themes are you going to have them come with blank headers and such or include PS files for us to do our own as the banner in AT-attitude that shows diff ads if clicked on brings up a page saying unable to connect to SQL.
  
  But anyways keep up the good work there are some PHPNuke themes that I have wanted for a long time and now its starting to look like we can get our hands on em :)

  Yea, it will be cool. It does look like we have more work to do on this conversion script though. It does a fine job on all the file except the theme.html. I got so darn excited that I didn't debug all the themes that I had converted. I'll be going back to double check the ones we have already converted before I go on to the next batch of 50.

  I dunno about your question. Probably not. They will be "as is." I'm hoping people that go the extra step to completely clean up a converted theme will send it back to me to improve the overall quality of the collection.

  I would be more then happy to help you out there it will give me a chance to learn all about AT and making themes, though I will have to do it all with Dreamweaver, Crimson Editor and AT lite but I will give it a go :)

  I'm always around to answer questions about AT and the like. I appreciate your offer of help on the phpnuke themes, but the purpose of using a conversion script is to avoid havingto manually convert them. Frankly, a lot of them aren't all that good, but might suit someone's unique taste. We're tinkering with the script to fix the error you identified. I hope to fire it up again soon and start cranking out freebie themes!

  I haven't look at the converted themes you're offering, but a nice thing to see would be the correction of the bad practice in many themes of echoing HTML as PHP as outlined in my theme guide.
  
  But of course that would take good deal longer than just running through a conversion script ;)

  To the best of my knowledge, these are all GPL themes and state as much in the theme.php and/or license/credits file.

  Ahhh - I didn't think AT themes would *need* converting from one platform to the other; I assumed the compatability packs took care of that...

  He's talking about converting PHP-Nuke themes to AutoThemes. Since they are becoming AutoThemes, there is no PHP in them to echo HTML post conversion.
