Login in the header of the site  Top

  • I'd like to have the login block (don't believe it is exactly) as seen in www.postnuke.com .
Have I to modify the theme of my site?
    Any already done examples?
    thank you

  • Yes it's possible, yes there are several themes that do this, and if your using XTE or AutoTheme, then there's even a command used to add that to yoru theme.
  • Not using AT - anyone tipping me a link for a theme with the login fields in its header? It's already a bit of time I'm searching icon_smile

You really should use AT. It will let you do whatever you please in HTML.

I tried it out, but it seems that it doesn't let my users to change the theme.
    Anyway, I did what I need, I got help from waisen.com .
  • AutoTheme has nothing to do with your users changing themes, your Settings module controls wether they can do that or not.
  • I know!

Probably it is an issue in my installation, but my user can't change from an AutoTheme theme to another. Anyway, they don't get any problems with standard themes.
  • Yea that is an install problem.
  • Do you mean this is a known bug? If so, can you give me some more info? Thanks icon_smile

  • No its not a bug, you need to reinstall the mod and carefully follow the directions. The AutoTheme mod WILL NOT prevent regular PN themes from working.
  • I did so and now everything seems to work ok icon_smile
    thanks
