If you log into your site as admin and go into administration, you should see an Icon there that looks like a diskette with the words Updownload under it. Click on it and it will bring you into a page where you can add main categories. -

duh.... I *assumed* that I could add download there. Sorry.
I Chmod'd the UpDownloads folder to 777, but i get

ok, life just got stranger. I had upDownload working and life was great, but now, Permissions of the store_folder change abitrarily to 644, I change permissions back to 777, but as soon as I try a new Upload, I am denied doing so. I then check permissions and they are reset to 644.
The Host is trying to blame upDownload (but I think that is their lame excuse in not understanding a CMS) so I am looking for any ideas. -

It seems that I can change the permissions of the folder, but whenever I try to upload a new file, the permissions get changed. I am starting to think it is an UpDownload thing.
