It'd be great if postnuke were integrated into the Invision Board like vBportal is with vBulletin. It looks like you have it integrated with phpBB, but is there any chance you all could integrate it with IB? (As I think IB is a superior message board system.)
Note: When I say integrate, I mean have the member list for the InvisionBoard use the same memberlist that post nuke does and vice versa. Along with whatever other features you'd like to add.

Invision is indeed a great piece of software. I have one installed.
I use IB for our forums at the main site though.
Out of all the forums I've tried including phpBB invision installs the easiest, has plenty of options we all love, and when ever I make my rounds thru phpMyAdmin into the MySQL DB, this forums tables has the least amount of overhead if any, that needs to be re-optimized.
invision is "the" fastest forum there is. {IMHO}
I'll stick with IB though. It's the most fun to use, and looks a bit nicer than any phpBB I've ever seen.

neowin tried to switch from vBulletin to Invision to see if it would help there server problems and invision puked on them. -

I also have a Vbulletin for my other site and while it is better than Invision Board (IMO) I think Invision Board is the best FREE board system on the market. It comes close to vBulletin standards, but isn't quite there yet, as it hasn't been developed as long as vBulletin.
My Invision Board site isn't officially open for business yet, so no I don't get heavy traffic as of yet. -

I have been waiting patiently for an IBF mod for postnuke.
Hopefully one will come. From what I understand, the user
tables in the two databases dont work well together. I think
one person over at invision's official forums got a working
combination. Hopefully we get a mod for it. The more choices
the better. -

The IBF runs on a german site with postnuke, but not as a module yet. it use the pn_user Table and user can logIn or register at both PN or IB. Only the Sessions must work together .... but i only work on it when i've time. Think in about four weeks i release a first beta to test.
http://www.0l80.com you can test it..... -

Yes, we are all looking forward to this integration! =)
Personally, I have to agree with Nero when he says this is a superior message board. I used to use phpBB and i couldn't stand it. The admin pannel had few features, and it seemed generally sloppy. I tried adding hacks, but nothing could live up the VB admin pannel i was used to.
Then I found invisionboard. =)
It had most of the features VB had (if not all) infact, we found a couple extras it had that VB didn't. The hacks for invision are rapidly being released, making an excellent assortment of hacks. Not only that, but the creators of invisionboard USED to be the creators of ikonboard which means they have a lot of background with development.
Invisionboard is getting better and better each day and when it get's known more, it's going to be one of the top boards out there. I like Invisionboard way better than PHPBB and OpenBB. =)
But I most likely would use VBulletin if I could afford to pay $160 US (i'm a canadian so it's like $250). But eventually when I can afford it I might have to spend them elsewhere... if invisionboard keeps developing as great as it is, it might be EXACTLY as good as VB if not better.
Anyway, we look forward to the release of the ibf support. =) -

Guys, guys, guys... WAIT
Sam is working on a module that allows the user to integrate ANY PHP application into postnuke. This is the module that postnuke.com used to integrate phpBB, bugtrack and all the other applications you see into the postnuke.com.
With this module, you'll be able to integrate ANY forum software you want.
