Please: Need help with postnuke 064  Bottom

  • Hello,

I could find no forum that exactly goes with my kind of historic ... topic, so I put it in here.

Im still using the "forefather" of postnuke => version 064 - so far it didnt make too many problems, but now I changed to a new server, and things are getting worse and worse ...

My problem ist: changing to a new PN-version is no good option, my sites DB includes 100s of articles, almost 1000 links and much more stuff, upgrading would take me ages ... (I tried to upgrade to version 0.7something maybe 2 years ago - it ended in a mess, so I decided to go on with PN 064).

The main problem are errors like

Warning: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set ...

    and

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ...

So to me as a "silly postnuke user" (I dont know too much about PHP and mysql) it seems like problems with the DB.

By the way, something is very strange: I moved the site to my new server, everything seemed to be fine - apart from a few unix-errors, but I could solve these problems), but a few days later the problems started.

The whole mess can be seen unter http://www.deutsch-online.com - can anyone help me or give some advice?

    Best regards from vienna, austria

    Michael
  • Sorry, that product has passed what the big guys call "End of Life" we cannot support anything older than .723.

If you'd like assistance in upgrading, we can probably accomodate some methods to do so, but that code base is so old, few people around here probably even touched it on a programing state. THere have been numerous improvements and patches..
