  I want to be able to set images as block backgrounds and titles. This is my site, http://clanxit.ath.cx and i would like to be able to do something like this site, http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com
  My theme is an AT and I know a little bit about how to edit it and such, I just can't figure out how to set images.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Take a look at the AT documentation, you can create custom blocks for each block, I think it's the AT-PMS that has the Main Menu block with it's on graphic image header.

  It appears I was wrong, and its not an AT. I assume it is much harder to do this without AutoTheme, but am still willing to try.

  But seriously, your theme is simple enough that you should just convert it to an AutoTheme. Then create a back ground image that is 800 pixels tall and it should accomodate just about any block background where its called by the .html file.
