Damn, I really need an auction mod for postnuke but, trying to follow the install on this thing drove me nuts. - Many of us don't have postnuke running on a local box or server and don't have a "G:\asd\path\home\" directory ... we have something like "/home/user/public_html/bbs/"
anyway.. see if you can combine all of the config information into a single include file so we can modify a single config.php file instead of 4. -

You shouldn't have to run any SQL statements, or modify any files, if that's the case with this, then maybe you want to look for other options, I seem to remember an Auction module that was at least close to pnAPI compliance being out there. Try searching for Auction on the mods.postnuke.com site.

Checked that... I found :
PNAuction Released! < < no trace of this one anywhere (not even on the MSN site they listed)
http://nukeauction.phpauction.org/ which doesn't resolve any longer... and on phpauction.org there is only a $20 version that doesn't contain most of the features I really want. The version that has the features I want is like $400. Yah, right.. I run a website for the avian community in my spare time from donations which don't pay for 1% of my time... I can't afford $400. ;)
There was mention of phpAuction related to a URL: www.phpGroupWise.com but that site seems to have changed quite a bit and is so cluttered I ran away shielding my eyes though not until I ran a couple quick searches on the site and turned up zilch.
Anyway.. I've come up empty. I found "Auktion" for use on PHP-nuke but.. I'm trying to get away from that and want to use PostNuke. -

That's because phpauction.org made a big stink over pnAuction in saying that it was their script under a new name. THe project originally was on Yahoo Groups and phpauction got Yahoo to beileve thier case and had Yahoo to shut down pnAuction.

So there's still no auction script for postnuke?
I have "http://www.nukemodule.de/" running for PHP-nuke, but I'm trying to ditch PHP-nuke. -

Thanks ChadK, I appreciate the offer of help there when I get something written for testing. I do plan on having some beta testing by testers go on first before doing any type of official release, it's the best way to work the kinks out of it for the most part and helps deliver a more solid product.
