Migrating back to postnuke from MD-PRO  Bottom

  • Hi everyone,
I recently migrated my site over to md-pro ,I was wondering if there was a way of coming back to PN ?
Since Timax stopped all dev and closed his site I rekon there is no futur for md-pro therefore if nobody is gonna take md-pro on I think it would be preferable to go back to PN.
  • Well, I didn't have any major problems with the roll back I did a few months ago, other than screwing things up trying to get rid of the new items that were in the User page.

  • And I think I'll repeat my answer here, just in case someone sees this and doesn't wander over to the other thread.

It's April Fool's Day. While it's possible the annoucement of MD-Pro shutting is true, don't take anything seriously today until you are sure. It would suck to delete your site due to a joke.
  • it was a joke.
  • No. A joke is funny. This was a stupid prank and one that showed very poor judgment.
  • Makes you wonder what other 'holidays' you will be left without a support forum wondering if it is a joke or for real. Try explaining to the boss that you can't get your question answered today because the support site is down with a note that says they have closed their doors. You hope it is related to April Fools day, but you don't know for sure because most of the lead developers are from Italy and who knows if April Fools day is just an American thing or if it is world wide. Of course you spent 2 weeks convincing the boss that switching to MD-Pro was the thing to do and another 2 weeks moving and testing all your custom modules to MD-Pro and now you're scrambling to recover and keep your job.
Not funny, and definitely not professional.
