Hi All:
I would like to have a Movies Module, I searched and found Memphis but it is not updated since 2002... I tried the site but module shows nothing...
I think a Easy to Maintain Movies Database could be key for Community Portals...

Details as to what you want it to do exactly would help.

While I hardly think a movies database is key to any community except perhaps one about movies, I can offer some suggestions. I have long had a static page about movies on the subject of my site and another on television shows.
For the movies page, naturally the title(s) of the movie, year released, country that produced it, color or black and white, producer director and actors (and their roles) should be listed. Additionally comments and reviews should be included. IMDB allows people to submit reviews and the PN module should do the same.
The ability to show related movies (usually sequels) would be helpful also along with the ability to include images. If this all were user submitable, it would be much easier to maintain and be added to.
For television, all of the above would be required along with some additional information. My TV page is categorized by country. I have the TV shows listed, what channel they are on (and indicate if it is broadcast, cable or satellite) whether it is a one time show or series, the theme of the show, and the air dates and time. Most have more than one.
For series, if an admin wanted to list each episode, it would be necessary to include a field for season and episode number.
I also have links to the websites of channels that frequently or regularly air related shows. Finally, I have links to online schedule guides so people can look up when a show airs in their area.
One more thing, the header area should have admin configurable comments to describe the nature of the shows listed below.
That should make for a nice start. -

Have you tried sites like Moviefone http://www.moviefone.com/ and Zap2it http://www.zap2it.com/ ? I don't know if they cover Puerto Rico, but it is easy enough to find out. Just enter your zip code in their theater locater.
