Hi, on our site, we have a special corner where we place people's birthday wishes to someone from the community. We place a text and a photo...
Now I'm looking for a module I could use for that, thing is that I don't want to use the news system (I need to add a special header and some extra news) as it is too limited layout wise.
PagEd I'm already using for something else and it doesn't have a block in which I could list only specific topic items...
All with all I need something that I can separate from news, so a standalone module..but that has pretty much the same function...
Any pointers or tips would be welcome...

It's not great if you try to use it in English. The translation is horrid and incomplete. It also has a bug, not to mention that it looks bad because of oversize fonts in the wrong places. The copyright notice is bigger than anything else. If you had checked the forum, you would have noticed where a programmer is working on the bug and a couple of us made a proper translation to English. I've taken it further by translating all filenames to English as well as cleaning up the appearance.
The author is apparently no longer supporting this module and was unresponsive to the translated version I sent with an inquiry on fixing the bug.
Have a bit of patience. Sometime in April a proper birthday module in English will be available, perhaps bug free.
