Hiya.
I have coverted a html/flash template to work with AutoTheme and want to get the search box that is part of the flash header to work properly and search my site.
The site is http://82.37.96.147/…test/html/index.php
If you go to the site you can see the search box at the top.
Does anyone know if this is possible.
Thanks
- Mark.

Looks like you just need to set the right method & action for your form and perhaps include some hidden variables. I'd consult the Macromedia forums or documentation to see how this is done... The code to make the search box can be found in the theme code here, though:

I'll let you know what I think just as soon as it finishes loading...but first, I gotta few things to do like: attend my daughter's pre-school graduation, wash the dog, visit my mom, attend my daughter's high school graduation, learn to play bridge, work on my taxes, learn to fly, learn to fish, learn to flyfish, attend my daughter's college graduation, double check the math in the federal budget, attend my daughter's graduation from grad school...

Thanks nate..... much appreciated.
I know its a bit heavy on the flash but its seemed to load ok for the PC's ive used, that said none of them were on dial up.
Do you think it integrates well with the postnuke modules, I am planning on releasing a lot of free and commercial themes like this and wonder if there is actually a like and demand for them!? -

Is it really that slow.....
Ive tried it of loads of PC's and never had a problem!?
I'm on DSL...faster than dialup; not as fast as cable.
It takes longer to load than I'd like to see...particularly for a host's website. To me at least, slow connotes slow servers and that's not a good image for a host.

I undertstand where you are coming from but it is not actually a hosts site just a place where I can test my themes etc.
Maybe I can create custom HTML pages for all the other modules and take out the flash and judt leave it as an image.... except for the navgation!!?
