Applying themes to a module

In theme's at the top, there are a number of $bgcolor variables specified pertaining to colors used in the theme and by other modules.
You can refer to these in your module by:

$GLOBALS['bgcolor1']
See this post in the theme comments for a semi-descriptoin of these colors...
You could also add special classes to the theme's style sheets and use them, but they would not be available in other themes...
