Monthly Contract Module Development  Bottom

  • Well, first off I love postnuke a lot more then OsCommerce but OsCommerce currently carries more "real world" functionality for me right now then Postnuke so it's my focus (if this is the wrong forum, please move/delete whatever)

I figured I might try here.. cause I haven't had much luck with other forums I frequent..

I want to pay a individual to develop modules (primarily) and perform various related work

    Specifically
    - Postnuke themes and modules
    - OsCommerce themes and modules
    - SEO Possible
    - Any and all modules designed become my property for me to do with as I choose (mostly choose to give back)
    - Original Images/files in there format

The contract amount I would like to pay is $125 a Month for 13 hours of work.. with additional hours billed at $13 an hour..

I have projects that our sure to keep you busy for a minimum of 1 year and I would be willing to commit to that term.. in addition I may subcontract out to you design work for 3rd party's so it's a win-win situation and some of the modules built would be given to the community and I don't have a problem with you putting your name on it for credit

If it's helpful I'm also in the hosting business so I'd be glad to trade if that would help you out..

Here is a specific Project List

  • Some of the modules you are looking for exist already. Are you willing to use those rather than make new ones from scratch? (ie, postcalendar for your calendar needs)
  • Yes

I'm aware of postcalendar I just don't think it totally suits all the features I need.. It would likely need borrowed code or customization..
  • You want custom programing for $9.61/hr and 13/hr OT? Sorry, that's WAY low. I was told that I was underselling myself when I charged $30/hr and I've almost doubled my hourly rate from that now. The only way I'd consider going any lower than $40/hr now is for either a friend or in some sort of contract arrangement with another developer where they were giving me tech services at a similar price.
