  I'm an artist and I'd like to have a work-in-progress page to complement my gallery and give folks that much more to come and look at. I'm not sure what kind of module would be good for this kind of thing. I'm essentially looking for a way to display an image or two and some text, and perhaps allow for coments. I've given some thought to a section (except for lack of comments) or My eGallery (which I use - but it might be overkill). Any other suggestions for an interesting way to do this?

  The MultiImage module allows displaying random images and text in a block. Links are also supported.
