Auto delete inactive user accounts?

From what I have seen there is no easy way to delete inactive accounts with postnuke. -

That's because it's not recomended to delete users as it can cause problems if they've post content.

The user management is due for serious development
The newsletter sends to email addresses that are not working or closed.
Currently searching by usernames need to be searched by email addresses.
Passwords also need to be readable by admins
