  • When I tried save a publication, it said: Default template applied to "". Please ask administrator to create a template for this publication type.

    However, when I went to place the Pagesetter block, I got the following error: /home/.abigaildryer/redkaven/redkaven.com/xTx/postnuke/html/modules/pagesetter/pnadminapi.php(116): "getPubTypeInfo" failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 15 while executing: SELECT nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_id, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_title, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_description, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_authorid, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_createddate, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_listcount, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortfield1, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortdesc1, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortfield2, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortdesc2, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortfield3, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_sortdesc3, nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_enablehooks FROM nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes WHERE nuke_pagesetter_pubtypes.pg_id =

  • I also got this error when trying to create a template:

home/.abigaildryer/redkaven/redkaven.com/xTx/postnuke/html/modules/pagesetter/pnadmin.php(487): Cannot write the template file

I have a custom theme running on site.

  • Best to ask module specifics at the module developer's site. However.

First error is because the pub type isn't being passed to the link. Have you created a publication in the pub type?

Second error, you need to give write permissions to the pntemplate folder for that feature to work. Probably 777

  • Ok, that fixed it...

Now I just gotta get the link to show up in the menu.

I seen a option where it says "show in menu", but it won't let me select it.

    -Xarcell
  • The menu stuff is not completely implemented yet. So you will have to add the page manually to the menu.

If you use the standard PN menu block then open admin:blocks:menu block and add the link there yourself.
  • Ya, I tried that. I dunno what to put...

    Stature > CharTer

I tried [CharTer] and [Stature_CharTer], but they don't work.

    -Xarcell
  • The documentation for Pagesetter gives you examples of several different ways to link in to Pagesetter, including how to add a link to a publication and a pub type.

  • Try using {Pagesetter} in the menu, this is "new style module" linking. Perhaps it works ...

Otherwise you have to specify index.php?module=... yourself.
  • I'm tryng to figure it out, but I'm afraid I don't quite understand it.

    -Xarcell
  • I viewed & copied the whole URL. That was the only way I could get it to work.

My problem now is, I thought it could take HTML? I wrote the page in HTML, now ya can see the HTML code. Anyway to fix this?

    -Xarcell
  • I like to try to keep the information I write organized by placing them in tables.

    How can I do this?

    -Xarcell
  • ODds are you don't have the table tag enabled with parameters in the Site settings.

  • That got it!

    Thanks man...

    -Xarcell
  • But as always, there's another problem.

    Everwhere I made a table, there's a

    tags.

    How can I fix this?

    -Xarcell
  • Also, I made the Pagesetter block.

How do I put the links in it? I checked "show in list" and the whole damn page showed up in it.
