Well, I just found an awesome module to allow server browsing of HalfLife games/mods. It looks really really nice. Whats the problem you may ask?
Its for phpnuke! ahh! Would anyone be willing to convert it? It looks like it would be a great mod for any gaming related postnuke websites out there.
Its called FatalQuery.
(It looks much better than the few other types of these, like serverbrowser and hlstatus.)
Thanks in advance
Marv

Damn Marvin you took the words right out of my mouth. I found the same plugin on a clan page I visit and was interested in porting it to my site until I found out it was for phpNuke.
Wonder how hard it is to do the conversion. Anyone out there able to help us?
I've also been playing with the underlying PHP code that is the engine which queries the server. It's called madQuery, but I'm having some problems even getting that to work.
At the moment we use phpRcon to remotely query our servers. Check it out at http://www.vitoland.com -

Yeah I have my methods around using FatalQuery, but FatalQuery seems far superior. I really wanted it because of the link to a map downloaded.
Right now, I use a SlickCode picture in a block on my main page to display the current users. Then for my Server Status page I use HL-Status, which seems to have stopped development. HL-Status is like a primitive version of FatalQuery, if any developers pick it up, it could be better. I dont believe the website/download link for HL-Status are still up, but I'd be happy to send anyone a copy.
