I am hoping someone here can make a recommendation.
I have installed postnuke for my college. I want to be able to import the colleges existing web pages and have them somehow easily integrate into postnuke. But, the catch being that I want these pages saved as new .php pages that are linked.
Ideally, being able to cut and paste HTML into a PHP page that would call on postnuke to wrap around the page would be good.
Even a script that could allow content to be added and saved as page.php and then linked via a hyperlink in a block would do. Then the college administrator could simply ftp down the page.php file, edit it and up it again. This would cut down on me having to add/edit content for him.
I have done several searches and found PagEd, content express etc... but are these able to do what I am wanting?
Any advice?

PostWrap is a module which lets you "include" HTML pages in such a way that they look just like the rest of your site. It also lets you define an alias for an HTML page so that its URL is not visible. Get it at http://spidean.mckenzies.net/Downloads+inc-^req-viewdownload-cid-1.phtml
I am using it in combination with Content Xpress, the main virtue of which is the menu builder. That way, I can keep old content or add new, and the user cannot tell the difference.

In reality... a simple script made into a module that had 3 options: page name, content, and publish. Simple, and then the pages could just be added. Every module I have seen is over kill. I dont want all those options - just a simple copy/paste into a new page and publish it - then link it up.
I have seen this asked several times, I am sure it would be popular.
The postwrap thing is nice, but I think it be better to have everything PHP and maybe less headaches later? -

Pagesetter may be over powered, but it will give you what you need basicall (cut and paste), you'd need to create the pub type, which should be fairly easy and templates for the pub type if you didn't like the ones that it can create for you.
It's how i did the PRoverbs a day on my church's site. Copied the text from a web page and pasted it in to Pagesetter, and it was all formatted as it was in the page a copied from.

What gets me is, when I cut and paste it in the Pagesetter editor, it appears fine. However when you view the page it's anything but...

Yes... I just thought I was doing something wrong yesterday when I tried it...
I suppose the whole postnuke thing was not really designed for what I am attempting to do. I cant bitch.
All I want to do is add pages in regards to courses offered etc. It "should" be simple enough, but keeping the format, making it stay within post nuke is bothersome.
Maybe its time I made a module... or erm..rather attempted one. :? -

Funny what I did like that worked find Xarcell. Maybe it's something in the template for the pub type?

Actually, someone told me that I need to open my HTML TAGS with parameters in the settings.
Everything works perfectly now.
I've used CE in the past, and wasn't all that heppy with it. I like Pagesetter better.

If you look in the FAQ, you will find several solutions. If you read this discussion, you will see some of them discussed, including their failings and strong points, and why some of us prefer one solution over another.
