Hello there ,
I`ve got a question related to the descriptions that can be made for Forums and catagories in the PNphpBB2 module (thirdparty) of postnuke.
I`m using the latest versions of Postnuke & PNphpBB2 , without any additional modules to PNphpBB2 .
My issue is that in the description of the catagories and / or forums I`ve setup I want to have them formatted .
Here`s an example of a forum description to see what I want first .
How I want it to be :
www.publicboard.com
Everybody can use this board for:
_Character Mails
_Check GNN-1 News Bulletin
_Discuss about the game's background, rules
_Or anything related
How it is :
www.publicboard.com
Everybody can use this board for: _Character Mails _Check GNN-1 News Bulletin _Discuss about the game's background, rules... _Or anything related to Macross and animation.
So like you see it isn`t formatted at all .
I see the tags clearly in the description .
I`ve tried out bbcode HTML and raw HTML .
But so far no luck at all !
In the original phpBB using tags was easily possible and thus allowed me to properly format my descriptions with new lines .
In order to solve the problem I`ve enabled the use of HTML and every tag I need to use trough both the Postnuke configuration and the PNphpBB2 configuration screens .
The use of BB code was also enabled just for the sake of trying out BB Code in the description .
Both methods didn`t work
Need some help on this :)
I`ve noticed that on the PNforum , descriptions ARE properly formatted using new lines and all so it should be possible , just need to know how .
Any help would be greatly apreciated :D
