After several attempts and a seemingly succesful installation I don't get along this problem: I don't have an administration menu. I am working with MySQL 4.0.0 on an WinNT 4.0 box, PHP 4.23, PN 0.726.
The database creates succesfully and is populated with some data. Login goes succesfully, PN tells there is one guest and one member online. But no Administration in the left menu. I come back to the default index page all the time.
I have tried a setup with Intranet instead of an Internet connected site checked, but no difference.
By browsing and searching I didn't find any information in this forum or the documentation so far that helps me so far.
I am sure it is a little thing I am overlooking, but what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for your help in advance,
Peter -

Just found out something strange myself. If I type the full URL: t.i. an IP address of the server followed by the directories in slashes then the admin.php it works. But if I use my www.domain.nl address I have the problem as described. Do I have to configure something in my Domain Name Services ???

Thanks! That's it. I use cloaking for my URL and obviously that is a problem for the login procedure. Not that I know how to run PN in a frameset, but I'll spend some time to find out how to do that. For now my first priority is to dig into all the configuration settings and try and find out the basics. I already start to like this software.
Thanks again for your great help.
Ciao,
Peter
