Some of this has been talked about before, but I'd like to see some more discussion, because I believe the "Realty" function is critical for the long term viability for PostNuke.
OpenRealty (mod) - It seems that this module is relatively stagnant in development, but does function in the latest PN version.
OpenRealty (full version) - Active development, Many Features, No mod for Postnuke.
PostWrap - Active development, many features works with latest PN version.
Questions:
1) Would it be possible (smart?) to use the full version of OpenRealty with Postwrap within PostNuke? So, install Open Realty (full) and then in PN use PostWrap. How would themes work with this? Would database and users need to be seperated or could they be integrated?
2) Is the OpenRealty(mod) worth installing and configuring? Does it really provide the features people want it to provide? Will development continue?
Well, hopefullly some of you can (and will) comment on this topic. I believe a strong Realty function in Postnuke will always be a large part of what makes it an effective CMS.
Thank you in advance for your comments.
