Employment / Recruitment Module for PostNuke?  Bottom

  • Does anyone know of an employment / recruitment module for PostNuke? I am looking for something with some features similar to monster.com
Basic functionality desired is: post resumes, post jobs, and have the ability to charge for job postings.
  • phprofession is the module I'm currently attempting to deploy. I have gotten the current 3.0 Alpha release almost-kind of-sort of-semi-working however it is missing some very integral parts to actually be called a full-fledged "Monster". :) For now it will suffice in what I am trying to do with it and by the time the mod is finished I should actually be MUCH better with PHP than I currently am (I think I rank below novice right now), so I'm not worried. The 2.6 version is (as I understand it) quite nice but not API-compliant. This link should take you to the testing site for the module where there is a link to d/l the files.

  • Thanks! I was trying to deploy version 2.5, but am having difficulties. I'll try version 3.0 alpha as suggested.
  • How about zClassifieds? I use it for jobs. You can create your own fields, etc.

Well, I have tried version 3.0 alpha and found that it is lacking payment integration.

I am building a site targeted to a specific group of professionals and want user membership to be free. The $$ for supporting and building the site will come from ads and employer job postings. (i.e. users resume postings will remain free)

I am going to start a new thread about phpEmployment. I ran across it yesterday. It seems to fit the bill, but is $149.95. So, I'd like to know if anyone has had good luck with it before I pay for it.
  • you could always use phPRO and allow only a certain group (the members that paid for membership) to the module for adding ads.
