instalation problem - "downloads" index.php

    It's maybe "wrong" forum... but maybe someone will knew the answer :)

    I've made an instal of Envolution on my computer, edited etc. Now i moved it to my server... set chmods, config etc. and... it doesn't word :( when I enter on index.php it wants to download it... www.riklaunim.noi.pl

    It would seem that the server either does not have PHP support or it's not configured correctly. For envolution support see http://www.envolution.com.

    I have PHP there, and mysql up and running :) I think its something with chomds or else...

    envolution.com - i've been there... very quiet... empty :/

    Your webserver needs to be configured to tell that PHP files are to be executed server side. This is part of the PHP install. Take a look at the PHP installation guide for details on this. Still this is a PN support forum not an envolution one.

    You can give it a try - I don't know of any further requirements of envolution that would give this kind of symptoms. It still looks to me like the server is not parsing PHP files correctly although the other CMS looks fine. Are then any .htaccess files that could be overriding any PHP settings? If the web server is apache and your using virtual hosts are then any virtual host configuration options that may be coming in to play? Sorry but I only have questions rather than answers.

    There is one way to check if the noi.pl is the problem - upload Envo on the Lycos... :twisted:
