You can still see the Postnuke in it but hey I like the way it organises things so I'm probably not going to deviat to far off the blocks unless I just have to. This design has some kewlness about it. I don't claim to support 800X600 on this theme yet but it will when I get around to it. And yes Duster fire away. I value your opinion even if others don't seem to at times. I have found you to be fair and you only really dump on people when they ask for it. So be free my brother.
Peace at ya!!!!

Thank you. There are too many people around with cognitive disorders, and they are not worth discussing.
On to your theme. A lot of dark themes have problems with legibility, partly due to a lack of sufficient contrast. By using black as the text color on the dark gray background and by using a light gray background for the majority of the text areas, you have avoided that problem.
I like the green navigation buttons at the top. I particularly like the satin finish edges and that they illuminate on mouse over. However, the alt text shows as spacer.gif. I would fix that and change it to show the name on the nav button. For the logo, use "The Last Page logo". The use of ALT text is part of basic good design for many reasons, not the least of which is accommodating the visually impaired and their text readers. This last reason is a regulation for any website dealing with the U.S. government, even for so simple a thing as being linked from a government. While this won't apply to the majority of people reading this, it still makes sense for other reasons.
At first glance, the left border on the right blocks looks like a flaw. something not positioned properly. Closer inspection reveals it to be deliberate, some diode like device. It and the light gray border to the right fail as framing elements and detract from the overall look and effect fo the site. They are visually disturbing, upsetting the symmetry. You could use the diode on both side of the center block although I think the understated elegance of the solid line border fit better with the overall theme.
You have a link to a contact form, which is a good idea often overlooked, even by sites that say "contact us". The word brief is misspelled on it though.
The reason 800x600 compatibility is important is that between 52-55 % of people have it as their resolution setting. At least that was true 1 year+ ago according to mycomputer.com They had a large sampling of users and offered statistics on many things, from browers to search methods, resolutions and color settings. Unfortunately, they discontinued the public reports over a year ago. Even so, I suspect 800x600 is still a popular resolution and should not be ignored.
While I see that you are doing better at handling your affliction of FHAMOTO, there are some minor grammatical corrections to be made. These consist mostly of fragmented sentences and one misspelling on the main page. The misspelling is interest.
The first and third paragraphs in your welcome section have sentence fragments that should be part of the preceding sentence as in the following:
This site is a community site, meaning that you can join and take part in the content displayed here.
Opinions stories and artwork are among the things that users may contribute, so if you have been looking for a place to voice your opinions we are happy to provide the soapbox. There is absolutely no telling what may end up here.
If you are a registered user there are many options available to you that are not available to the general public, things like being able to add your own menu, select a custom site theme, and message other users. This list will also grow as time permits
I have a couple of suggestions for most users to eliminate some common problems. One is to enter the text one intends on using into a text editor and run a spell check on it. This will help catch many mistakes, though not all of them. Transpositional errors (a type I make frequently) can still produce the wrong word spelled correctly, such as form instead of from, fro instead of for, etc. For that reason, a review after spell checking is advised as well.
The other suggestion is similar, make use of dictionary.com as needed. Remember, dictionary.com is our friend, one that does not mind being used frequently. -

Yes I guess I missed that spelling but so did you the first time you looked at the old theme :). I guess I should show more interest in my spelling. And that damn i before e except after t or e or p thing gets me every time. I have since included the code to make it display better for 800x600 viewers. It still leaves a bit off the right edge but all of the content areas are fully visible now. And it seems to actually not break the page so if anyone else wants the code just steal it. There is probably a better way to do it but for my ease of use I just wrote a brief if statement to check the res and then set the position accordingly. I input it from an include in the theme PHP it just seemed easier that way. Thanks so much for taking the time to look at it Duster people don't realize that time is a very valuable thing.(until they run out of it)
