Postnuke modules for Project Management  Bottom

Go to page 1 - 2 [+1]:

  • Are there any..?
  • Not that I'm aware of. I could certainly use one though.
  • Try Projects 0.5 from www.portalzine.de but I think only supporters can download that module (which means you'll have to pay for a 3 months subscription first). But as a subscriber I can tell you that it is a great module.
  • there's another module out there called task manager, might try it.
  • Just found out that phpCollab as of version 2.5 can be integrated to PN with a module named pnPHPC10 (see http://phpcollab.sourceforge.net/viewtopic.php?p=4593#4593). I attach the readme.txt from that module:

    Quote

    /************************************************************************/
    /* pnPHPC (/pndocs/readme.txt) */
    /************************************************************************/

    The pnPHPC hack for Postnuke 0.72x is very simple and requires no tables in the DB.

    Basically what this hack does is that it tries to log on the current Postnuke user within PHPCOLLAB.
    If the user is known, automatically this user will be logged on.
    There is no database integration, this hack only offers seamingless logon pass-through.

    Tested with :
    Postnuke 0.72x
    PHPCOLLAB 2.5 (b3)
    Linux/Windows

    Location of the PHPC installation is not important.

    INSTALLATION
    ======================
    1. Unzip the contents to your /modules directory.
    2. Copy pnPHPC\phpcollab\*.* to your PHPCOLLAB root directory. (mandatory)
    3. Initialise & activate the module
    4. Go to the AdminPanel and set the directory of PHPC
    5. Link the module into a menu block as : {pnPHPC}

    TIPS
    =====
    In order to have the application opened in a separate New Window (full screen) do the following :
    Create a Core/HTML block with the following contents :
    PHPCOLLAB
    Make sure that in Admin Panel you have checked the Full Screen option
  • Try xTasks over at http://www.miragelab.com
  • Thank you very much but if I wanted to pay it wouldn't be to people with purple odd-looking sites!
  • I like this project tool MoreGroupWare and love Postnuke :D
    so... searched and re-searched for Project apps for Postnuke and... nothing...

    But you can use Postwrap and watch this topic CAS provided this connector for sharing same users on both apps...

    cheers
  • opssss...

    Forgot to tell you that CAS also has connectors for dotproject and for phprojekt

    ;)
  • here it goes some screenshosts of Moregroupware:

    Of course also has Projects, Gannt....

    the "only" problem is the permissions of projects....
  • Well, this certainly looks impressive! Is this open?

    What did you do to handle permissions?

    LOL, only now that i noticed that pnPHPC is from Cas
  • jluis,

    I'm really interested in the MoreGroupWare integration into Postnuke. This would solve a couple of problems for me. Apparently you have this working; how well does it work for you now?

    I've signed onto Cas' site, but I can't seem to find that module. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!
