Postwrap -external page width problem  Bottom

  • I am using Postwrap 2.0 to incorporate external pages into my PN site.

What I encounter is if I am using 1024 x 768 resolution, then I can see the pages' full width without having to scroll to the right.

However, if someone using 800 x 600 resolution, then he has to scroll to the right and this is where the problem lies. Since the postwrap page has it's own scroll bar, if the page length is longer then his monitor's length, then he has to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the postwrap page in order to scroll the postwrap's horizontal scroll bar. I have tried to work on the 'resize windows' option but it offer no help. I think in this case no viewer would like to do that and they will just go away.

Does anyone got any solution for this problem.

Or do I have to select another them which has no left block and all the menu items are built in a horizontal meu bar on the top, and do we have any theme of this kind for download please?

I really need to solve this problem and any help will be very much appreciated.

    Thanks
  • If you post a link to the page I might have a better answer, but the short version is that to make sure the external pages you link to do not have any absolute widths (in tables, images, rulers) specified that are longer than the main content body width (without right blocks?) of your website at 800x600 resolution... For sites with a 150-200px left menu and some border around the theme, and no right blocks, I find this limit to be in the 500 pixel range (allowing for some nice white space, etc...)

  • I am not sure whether the external pages are in absolute width. However, there are banner/images occupying nearly the whole width of their pages.
