Hi people,
I have never used PostNuke before, and am planning on using it on my next project.
I would like to do a particular customisation on it and wondered if I could run it past people here before I attempt the PostNuke installation etc.
My project will be for a community of car owners. Bascially a register for one model by a particular manufacturer.
Anyone should be able to register but I need to have a "registered car" section where I can customise many fields of data according to registration, chassis number, modificaitons, service history, track times, picture gallery and so on and so on. This would allow users to have an online database of their car n history. If a user then sells the car I would like to be able to transfer this information to the new owners user a/c.
Is this feasable using PostNuke? I am prepared to have to learn a lot. I just don't want to start a project thats not possible with PostNuke, as coding it from scratch maybe easier?
Thanks very much for any help you can give me. -

Thanks for that, I go have a read up on those modules.
I have been digging around and found a database module, from the description it looks quite good for what I am attempting? -

Go to http://pn-xuser.sourceforge.net to download X-User. The features you want only available in X-User 0.3.0 and up (it's still in alpha testing right now, take a look at the alpha test site at http://pn-xuser.sourceforge.net/alpha and see if it's what you want or not first).
