Take a look at: http://www.enrager.net/web/newswire/index.php
For some reason long headlines are pushing the right hand colomn blocks out of the table for the site and making it look dodgy... Im sure this must be easy to fix.. does anyone know where i can edit the code to fix the table sizes?
Thanks!

Hi - that is done in themes.php... It looks like your top table (where the logo is, etc...) is only 700px wide while the bottom tables are 780px or so... Your are better off setting layout inside a 3-column 3-row table with the top and bottom row spanning the three columns... make your header bigger or table smaller so they match....
Cheers...

Hiya cheers for the response! Im still a bit baffled by it all though... i tried going through the theme.php and editing all table withds which were at 788 and mkaing them 700 but that didnt seem to fix it. I could find the code which said my top table was only 700? I dont really know what im looking for...
Be good if you could give me a few more pointers!
Thanks lots!!! :)

Hi there,
It's the topic images that are doing this because they are in a seperate table cell. My advice is to put theme inthe same cell as the news summery and have em the text wrap around em.
Kindest regards

Yes, as I stated briefly in my last post, I would go with the layout contained in a single table, as described above with absolute table width values set for the master table and the's of the left and right blocks.... Then you could have simple tables as you do now for the left/right/center blocks with a width of 100%
P.S. See my post on good theme writing practices here:
