AT-Lite Admin erros...help!  Bottom

  • Hi there,
Playing with my site here, and installed AT-Lite which so far seems to be working well, until I tried to enter in a custom module name in the admin area. When I do that I get the following error messages:

    Quote

    Warning: fopen("themes/AT-LACHSA/theme.cfg", "w") - Permission denied in /path/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php on line 581

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /path/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php on line 582

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /path/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php on line 583

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /path/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php:581) in /path/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php on line 183

Any idea what could be wrong? I saw another posting once regarding the Shoutbox who had similar errors and the suggestion was to CHMODD the offending file to 777. I've tried that on the admin file to no avail. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Make sure that themes/AT-LACHSA/theme.cfg exists and CHMOD 777 themes/AT-LACHSA/theme.cfg

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I CHMODD'd that file, which did already exist, but it hasn't fixed the issue. I'm still getting the following:

    Quote

    Warning: fopen("themes/AT-LACHSA/theme.cfg", "w") - Permission denied in /home/.aleta/laura/lachsaalumni.org/modules/AutoTheme/admin.php on line 581

Any other ideas? Is it possible that I need to manually enter this new custom module into the .cfg file even though it's fully rw?

  • For whatever reason, your server is not allowing the webserver (PHP) to write to this file. Maybe ask your hosting provider.

  • Well, for some reason my ftp software was acting up and when I thought I'd CHMODD'd, it actually hadn't icon_redface . Tried a different program that's a bit more stable and it works fine now that it *actually* got CHMODD'd to 777! Thanks awfully much!
