I wonder if anyone knows of a news module or block which can be placed at the bottom of the page. I have tryed some of the news blocks, all of them are stuck at the top of the page and it is not possible to place them at the bottom. If anyone has seen a module which archives stories as done in http://www.mbl.is (bottom of page) by topics, I would like to know.

The block placement is the task of the theme, not of the block itself. You could rewrite a standard theme, showing the center blocks at the bottom, or use the Nuclei Block Module so you have more block areas. I don't know about AutoTheme...

AutoTheme works in conjunction with nuclei blocks
