problems after manual installation

i just manually installed PostNuke, and i am having problems... i cant login
as admin, it just keeps going to the main page.. i try to login there and it just processes and displays the page that says login, register, or retrieve lost password.. when i click on login it just loops back to the same page again........... plus when i click on one of the links to like "downloads" or something it says "Sorry you cant access this file directly...."
what is going on?

OMG! I found out why...
Apparently, the files in my PHP dir was deleted! dll's, etc...
And even the php.ini in the Windows dir too~!
This is some freaky 5H|+, coz nobody uses my PC.
Also zerouser123, check if globals is set to 'on' in your php.ini...
