    Hi,

I'm having trouble after i've installed PN, i get the error:

    Quote

Fatal error: call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/virtual/site115/fst/var/www/html/header.php on line 188

Even when i reset or change the theme with the 'Swiss Army Knife' thingie, it still gives me the same error, i've searched the forum but did not find a solution.

    Please help!!!!!!!!! :(

Please give people a little time to repsond - we're all volunteers.

This is usually a theme issue. When you changed the theme did you change it to a stock PN one e.g. PostNuke or ExtraLite? Could you provide a URL to your site.

OK - Like this person and several others ...

I performed a brand new install of PostNuke - I changed nothing (including themes) - and I get the themeheader problem.

I, too, used the swiss army thing but it did not help - of course I didn't really expect it to since I never changed anything.

So I read where someone says, "Clear your cookies" and I did.

The site works like magic - now I am really confused.

I come home a few hours later and go to my site (on my home PC now instead of work) and I get the same bloody themeheader problem!!! Again, I changed nothing!

I clear my cookies and offline content and - viola! - it works.

What gives? This obviously has nothing to do with changing a theme. This is a code bug of some sort. I will gladly share any information I have with anyone who is interested in trying to figure it out. Just ask.

Sure enough, when I delete the cookies, this works. But...this was a new subdomain, there were no cookies related to it directly. The old cookies were for other subdomains, not this one. This is a bug.

Now I've discovered that it still has a problem in Mozilla, altho it works fine in IE. Different set of cookies, of course. I think the problem is that this is a subsite of a site that has it's own cookies. The software isn't looking for the cookie for the right site, finds a cookie and eats it, even tho it is not the correct one.

The regular site is under zzz/newstuff ( .722) and I have a test installation under zzz/testing (.723). The brand new .726 site is under zzz/express. The software is getting mixed up. Perhaps it simply cannot operate correctly in such an environment.
