I created a separate menu block for Admin with the idea in mind of making that block only visable to the admin, but its not working that way. Only the admin can access it. But is there a way that only the admin will even see that block?
Here's is what I have currently:
Created permission
Permissions
New group permission New user permission View group permissions View user permissions
Admins menublock:: Administration Admin
Users menublock::: Administration None
Unregistered menublock::: Administration None -

Here is an example for the snakepending block which I show at my site only for admins.
alle Gruppen SnakePending:pendingblock: :: keines
(it is a german site)
It is not enough do add such permission. You have to move the permission higher than the permissions
Users .* .* kommentieren and
unregistrierte (Gruppe) .* .* lesen -

Huh? Gruppen whose snake?
Unless it's French, Spanish, English, or perhaps a little Latin (about waist high, or so), it's all Greek to me.
Anyway, I'd love to have a special menu visible only to admins. Kinda like the ol' days when I PHPnuked. But I'm not sure how this works so I need some help.
Let's say I've created two menus. One menu with everything for the admin I'll call AdminMenu, and the other, your basic generic menublock, with fewer items for everyone else.
Can somone please explain in lay terms, and without gruppen anybody's snake, how I set up the permissions so only the admin gets to see AdminMenu?
Thanks.

All Groups | MenuBlock:: | <blockname>:: | None
place that just below
Admins | .* | .* | Admin
The first permission blocks it to eveyone, placing it below the .* admin permissions means that the .* takes effect over the All Groups, so admins are the only group to be able to see the menu.
