For some reason my comments administration isn't showing all of the options. I only have a few options, such as how many bytes comments can be and whether to allow anonymous postings. Comments Configuration, the manual, and moderation are all not available. I'm not sure what would be causing this, have exhausted my limited knowledge of PostNuke, and cannot find an answer in the forums. Please help.
Some info:
PN version: 0.723 Phoenix
Comments: NS-Comments vanilla version
Comments Module: Enabled
File permissions are okay.

you cant moderate the text of comments, only the rating. Manual is only part of some modules and also i dont think there is comments configuration.

As a follow up to this, my Submit News module is behaving the same way. I can't view the submissions to the site; the only thing I can change is the e-mail info for the admin.
Any ideas?

When I look at the global.php and admin.php for the module, there are a lot of extra options that are not showing up on the page - for both Submit News and Comments. Here's what I have available (and from what I've seen other people discuss, there seems to be a lot more):
Submit News
- Email info (who it goes to, if it does, etc.).
- No other options are available - thus I can't approve or edit news submissions.
Comments
- Comments Moderation: Type of moderation
- Comments Option: Allow anonymous posting, comment byte limit, and anonymous posting user.
- Nothing else.
I'm not sure why this is the case, and there seems like there should be more. Am I missing something?
Thanks. -

Well, I feel like a bit of a fool. I remedied the Submit News problem - the submitted news items were in the Add Story module. Ugh. The documentation should probably make that a bit more clear.
I also realized that the Comments Administration, as far as moderation and such goes, are in the actual comments. Ugh again.
I am running into a bit of weirdness, however. I have added the Comments module to the Main Menu block, but get the error:
"No direct access to comments system allowed"
I am admin, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error.
Thanks. -

comments is an attachment for news, not its own module, so it cant be accessed through a main menu link
