I can't seem to find the news block under Blocks and want to move it.

Here's what happened:

I added a story (the first) to my test site. It appeared at the bottom of the page so I thought I'd move it up some. However, when I went to Blocks, it did not appear (I viewed all blocks and active blocks and it appeared in neither).

I even tried adding a new block (using core/generic block) but that didn't work

I have pncUserhack installed and I thought it might be the problem. However, when I looked on my production site (which does not have pncUserHack installed) I didn't find it there either.

After doing a search on the forums, I temporarily replaced the includes directory on my test site with a brand new, unmodified version. No change. I went back to the previous one (with the pncUserhack modifications).

I imagine I must have seen it back in January when I installed PN .723 I arranged the blocks as I wanted them back then. I've had no need to change them since. The upgrade to .726 went smoothly and everything is functional. I just have two questions, where did the listing for my news blocks go? How do I get it back?

Any thoughts? (yes, I know that's a third question)
