  I have over 1000 PDF documents that I would like to put on mi site.
  
  Is there a module that supports uploading via FTP and then indexes the files so that I don't have to add them each individually? I would also like to add descriptions not only listing. Or is there a way to upload a database with descriptions, category and file name?

  i know ALOT of people have been looking for a module that does this ... if someoneknows a script that indexes a ftp or http site then id be glad to offer any help i can to create a module that does it ...

  i looked everywhere for a module like this and the closest thing I was able to find was nukeowl altough I could not get it to work because my hosting company runs PHP in safemode.
