Hi, im new to postnuke etc. Heres my problem.
Created a new block called Members.
Within this block i want it to display as follows
Members
Calander
Join Us
etc
I want to link them to vwar pages which i have done and it all looks ok, only problem is when i click members or calander or anything it opens the page in a whole new BLANK SCREEN, i want it to display in the centre block where the news is etc.
Any help?
Also iv downloaded some themes, when changing to a custome theme i get an error message saying
Fatal error: call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/virtual/site208/fst/var/www/html/nuke/html/header.php on line 188
And have to reinstall postuke again before i can use it.
Any help with this ?

So can anybody tell me how to fix this ?
Or why when changing to any theme rather than the defualt ones it gives me that
Fatal error: call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/virtual/site208/fst/var/www/html/nuke/html/header.php on line 188
And makes me reinstall postnuke ? -

For the links you will need to pack that into a PN wrapper, like postwrap (or similar). Basically what you have there is a link out of the site and it works ok. Showing the contents within PN you must have a wrapper. To find a wrapper do a seach for it.
The error you are getting for themes, is that for all other themes or just for some themes ? I tried a few of the standard themes and they worked OK.

installed postwrap
havnt a clue how to install it
installfile says sumthin about
URL - Alias
URL: modules.php?op=modload&name=PostWrap&file=index&page=index.php
Alias: modules.php?op=modload&name=PostWrap&file=index&page=mysite
what would i change that too so that when Members is clicked it will open: http://www.metrox.co.uk/vwar/vwar/member.php in the centre of postnuke rather than on a differnt full screen -

Replace the page= parameter in the URL with the link to the page on your site. I've not used postwrap so can't help to much further but you'll find be able to find the answers at the postwrap site http://spidean.mckenzies.net. Also a search here for postwrap may well bring up something useful.
Please give people a little time to answer the posts as everyone here is a volunteer.

Yea i understand mate. You know how you get when you want somthing doing fast and its that little thing standing in the way of everything else. you get very stressed. My hairs falling out :(
i think iv grasped that postwrap maybe, but it aint working
If i wanted to link a page to the word Members in my block and this was the page:
http://www.metrox.co.uk/vwar/vwar/member.php
say i put this in postwrap
URL
modules.php?op=modload&name=PostWrap&file=index&page=http://www.metrox.co.uk/vwar/vwar/member.php
Alias
modules.php?op=modload&name=PostWrap&file=index&page=Member
It shud work maybe ? BUT that code for alias (taken from the install docs for postwrap) doesnt fit in the alias box, its too long and the end is cut off

Super :D,
It feels very good when you manage to do something by yourself. No Problem about asking questions, this is why we have the board and the community. It would also be very good if you wrote a little piece of text explaining what and how you solved it, so that others in your situation can use your experiences.
