  i got a brand new and pretty good looking theme now, but the file is a tar.gz, i have no idea how to make it worj in my site, anyone can help me??

  A tar file is a packaged unix file, a gz file is a zipped or compressed file. On linux you would use a command like tar -zxvf filename.tar.gz to unzip and unpack the file. On windows you should be able to use winzip or WinRAR to unzip and unpack the file.
