I am completely new to Postnuke and am currently setting up my first site. I can see similar questions to the one I am asking but am not up to scratch enough on the workings of PHP to figure it out.

Thanks for the quick reply!

That works but now when any of the other topic icons are clicked within the topics themselves, it throws the user to the homepage... better than a broken link but not ideal, where did the search.php function send them?

Sorry to sound daft... but bit lost (can you tell?)

hmm, not quite sure what you mean
within topics the icons should point to something like this:

They do. But when you are within the topic, and the icon shows up beside a story, when you click on it, it drops you to the home page... that clearer? Failing that, have a look here http://www.austinmit….org/postnuke/html/ site's not live yet, and you will see what I mean, probably alongside a host of other glaring errors! Confident? Me? I don't think so! ~grin~
