Well, I have a friend who wants me to put this editor in a PostNuke site for her. I have been suggesting the editor that comes with PN is fine, but she wants to be able to drop a Word document in and go.

    * Is there something I am missing with the current editor that would allow a Word document to be copy n pasted into a new article?

    * Has anyone had any experience with Editize?

    * Is there someone who would be interested in integrating Editize - if so what would be the cost? ( e-mail me aztc AT drive55.org )

Here is a link to the site that is selling this add on: http://www.editize.com/

    Thanks in advance!

    1) Dont know
    2) N0
    3) At the moment the editor is a core thing, and so not very easy to change. In .8 the editor will be modular, and others can be integrated as modules, instead of the core one.

Are you sure it can be integrated into PN if you have to buy it?

Sorry I took so long to respond, and thank you you for the input. I have found that PNphpBB does not like IE6 much and had to fire up Mozilla to be able to login or post!

Anyway - my friend came up with the editize thing - I will look at some of the other wysiwyg editors I have seen mentioned here. Thanks again for the feedback.

What are your privacy settings -if IE is denying the PNphpBB cookie access you wont be able to post...

    1. There is a patch for the WYSIWYG editor that will allow Word docs to be imported.
    2. No
    3. Possibly

Yes it can be integrated, I have a licence for it, but haven't bothered to try and integrat it with PN yet because I haven't had time, but from the docs, it should be able to be done. May require a hack to the core, but I haven't really looked at what it would take.
