contact module  Bottom

  • Has anyone ever heard of a "admin contact" type of module, sort of like a little text area and a "from" line.. and a locked "admin@site.com" line so that people can email the admin or webmaster instead of a "admin" so that I won't get picked up by URL bots or whatever.
    Thanks
  • I have to admit that I do not know, but do a search in http://mods.postnuke.com/ and read through the specifications for the contact modules.

  • You can download such a contact module on my website :

Just Download Feedback and install it.

  • Yes. What you ask for is easy. There is a new one just released at http://prophetware.com The name is pnContacts 1.0 A new version will be released soon with some additional features made to thwart spammers. meanwhile this will do want you want and is even better than you asked for. It does not disclose the site admin e-mail address at all.
  • As fate would have it, I have had some personal and technical problems and have decided to close shop permanently. However, I will place the few modules I have on a friends server and post links here. My apologies...
  • sorry to hear that m8..... ur modules are great.

I got plenty of web space available if you need some. Email me: ben.@.arkhssports.DOT.com
  • Thanks for the offer, though I own my own server. THe problem right now is, I can't seem to get it secure enough to keep out intruders and hackers. I am working on a solution as we speak, but I cannot promise anything just yet.
  • Why don't you try SME server, this should help you (freeware version is available at http://www.e-smith.org
  • Interesting. Though it looks too new for me. need something more tried and true. I've been researching Debian and like the SME thing, use non-standard services.
